About us

Sustainability
in action.

A student-led community connecting disciplines with the people, places and decisions shaping a more sustainable future.

Sustainability is too important to stay abstract.

HKU Sustainability Society is a student-led, interdisciplinary community rooted at The University of Hong Kong. We turn the UN Sustainable Development Goals into practical learning, honest conversations and real-world action.

We connect HKU students with practitioners, organizations and communities addressing sustainability challenges, creating practice-oriented opportunities at the intersection of sustainability, technology, innovation, finance and social development.

Learn. Connect. Act.

Through interdisciplinary education, practitioner engagement, partnerships and student-led activities, we help students translate ideas into action across all 17 SDGs.
